When Gabriel was a little kid he loved going to street markets with his mom to buy seasonal, fresh ingredients and then spending hours in the kitchen cooking with her, making a mess, yet learning delicious traditional Italian recipes. Today, he is still that same kid that loves food, and loves playing in the kitchen, experimenting with different tastes and textures, creating his own personal recipes.

Gabriel was born in Montevideo, Uruguay, a second-generation Italian on his mother side. Gabriel is an engineer in Information Technology by trade and a cook at heart.
Food has always been his passion, and cooking is the perfect outlet for his creativity after hectic days at work. Having worked and lived abroad in Europe and Argentina, as well as culinary travels around the world, have fueled that passion. Those experiences also expanded his skills and knowledge about food built on top of a solid foundation, the one that comes from family recipes and traditions passed down from generation to generation. It definitely helps that his nonna, mom -and dad too- were fantastic cooks and that family and friend’s gatherings in Uruguay always take place around food.
